The Bolltrillarnas BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magne Rudkvist should have stopped the shot. Magne Rudkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Brogren in the 23rd minute of the match. Kurt Brogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Rudkvist having to interfere. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolltrillarnas BK's goalkeeper Magne Rudkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Bolltrillarnas BK's Håkan Månsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Håkan Månsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bolltrillarnas BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Håkan Månsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bolltrillarnas BK! In the 33rd minute Reine Dahlgren suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 33 minutes, Ahmet Oğuz Beybolat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mellbystrand IK and the Bolltrillarnas BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute Nouh Awwab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Alrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kurt Brogren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Magne Rudkvist made a huge save. Magne Rudkvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Niclas Vesterberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 45 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Brogren to make the kick off. Magne Rudkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Bolltrillarnas BK's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Vesterberg came free, but Magne Rudkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Brogren scored 8-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Magne Rudkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Brogren in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magne Rudkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes into the match, Kurt Brogren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magne Rudkvist. Bolltrillarnas BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kurt Brogren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. The supporters of Mellbystrand IK booed when Bolltrillarnas BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Kellman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niclas Vesterberg kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mellbystrand IK's zone, Andrei Joithe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Alrot came out of the goal and Andrei Joithe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrei Joithe scored 9-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Alrot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Bolltrillarnas BK's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Brogren came free, but Magne Rudkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mellbystrand IK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bolltrillarnas BK for a fine match.
