Rune Vestberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Griskultingarnas FF's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Griskultingarnas FF's Rune Vestberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniel Alrot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Mellbystrand IK's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Wiberg came free, but Daniel Alrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match, Niclas Vesterberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Natasha Sjøholm was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kurt Brogrens short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Natasha Sjøholm to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Daniel Alrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimmy Busk went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute Jimmy Busk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Alrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Thor Wiberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Alrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Alrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Wiberg in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Brogren got free with Natasha Sjøholm in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Griskultingarnas FF were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After taking down the ball on Mellbystrand IK's corner Måns Göransson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Natasha Sjøholm quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Griskultingarnas FF's Rune Vestberg got a free kick in the 56th minute. Natasha Sjøholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Vesterberg in the 57th minute of the match. Daniel Alrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimmy Busk in the 67th minute. Natasha Sjøholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Brogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Griskultingarnas FF's Arman Ekström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Alrot. That made the score 0-3 after 72 minutes of play. If Kurt Brogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Natasha Sjøholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Brogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Griskultingarnas FF's Natasha Sjøholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Brogren in the 79th minute of play. Daniel Alrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jochem Klooster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Thor Wiberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Griskultingarnas FF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mellbystrand IK throughout the match.
