Arvidsjaur FF's Zbyszek Pliszka was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 30 played minutes Arvidsjaur FF got a freekick which was hit by Peder Fagerberg. Takis Zafiriou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Björk in the 32nd minute of play. Angel-Enrique Comizzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Bevilacqua in the 33rd minute of play. Arvidsjaur FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blue Angels the free kick.
