The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Ted Linberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 5th minute Rasmus Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Linberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute Henley Utd were awarded a corner. Rasmus Mårtensson went to the cornerflag to take it. Elmer Hodžić struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Ted Linberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Henley Utd. In the 10th minute, Liam de Almeida left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TSIGALKO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, TSIGALKO's Ted Linberg got control of the ball when Manolito Gabbiadini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvin Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manolito Gabbiadini was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to TSIGALKO getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Aldo Serena hit a great ball. Manolito Gabbiadini scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ted Linberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edvin Jonsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Uggstedt in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute of the match Rasmus Mårtensson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ted Linberg skillfully saved the ball. In the 58th minute Richard Tunström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Linberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 59th minute, but Edvin Jonsson got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Henley Utd hanging dry this time. After a defensive mix-up in TSIGALKO's zone, Joakim Bergsten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ted Linberg came out of the goal and Joakim Bergsten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolito Gabbiadini in the 66th minute of play forced TSIGALKO's goalkeeper Ted Linberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TSIGALKO's Ted Linberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Bergsten in the 69th minute of play. Ted Linberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Mårtensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Henley Utd's Edvin Jonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergey Nikiforenko in the 74th minute of play. Ian Uggstedt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless.
