In the 11thth minute of the game Xu Gang Bing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Illusion FC's Hayri Kainat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Stelian Hortopan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ronnys Lärjungar's supporters rose to their feet, but Stelian Hortopan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hayri Kainat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Illusion FC defense, Xu Gang Bing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hayri Kainat. The Illusion FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hayri Kainat should have stopped the shot. After 17 minutes Illusion FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stelian Hortopan who took care of the corner kick. Ronnys Lärjungar's Stelian Hortopan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hayri Kainat in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With an all-out effort, Illusion FC's Bennvar Buffon threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Steevy Springfält, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hayri Kainat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xu Gang Bing, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Stelian Hortopan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hayri Kainat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute, Fredrik Vennerkvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bennvar Buffon. The goal made the score 1-1. Hayri Kainat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Hortopan in the 26th minute of the match. When Han Jian fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Illusion FC's protests and gave Han Jian a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Illusion FC's Han Jian got a free kick in the 28th minute. Hayri Kainat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xu Gang Bing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hayri Kainat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Gang Bing in the 32nd minute of the match. Christoforos Manousopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The corner led Illusion FC's Fredrik Vennerkvist to fire away a dangerous shot which Bennvar Buffon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stelian Hortopan in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hayri Kainat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hayri Kainat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stelian Hortopan's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Ronnys Lärjungar's Bennvar Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Ronaldson in the 43rd minute of play. When Illusion FC's Ronaldão Ronaldson in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Ronnys Lärjungar booed when Illusion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Mickelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronnys Lärjungar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stelian Hortopan in the 48th minute. Stelian Hortopan made a great header on Ronnys Lärjungar's corner, it was just that Illusion FC's Hayri Kainat managed to reach the ball for a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stelian Hortopan to make the kick off. Ronnys Lärjungar's Stelian Hortopan came free and shot a quick shot against goal 52 minutes in the game, fortunately Hayri Kainat had problems saving as it came toward the left post.
