Spectators: 8110 (Terracing: 6100, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sven-Oskar Lindberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sven-Oskar Lindberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lennart Juhlin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Oskar Lindberg ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Oskar Lindberg in the 5th minute of play forced Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalkeeper Lennart Juhlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Lennart Juhlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Oskar Lindberg in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Ludwig Hägg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Sjöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Demesio Faxardo in the 10th minute. It was a well-played corner which Edward Erserman managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Hamilton Barcelos with Ludwig Hägg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 23rd minute Sven-Oskar Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Juhlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Juhlin charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Markus Juhlin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Markus Juhlin kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludwig Hägg in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilhelm Sjöberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sven-Oskar Lindberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ludwig Hägg scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilhelm Sjöberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Oskar Lindberg got free with Lennart Juhlin in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Markus Juhlin was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, BK Bomben's Markus Juhlin got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Lennart Juhlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Rönn in the 58th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Saint Glenn Gothenburg got a freekick which was hit by Kent Finsberg. BK Bomben's Wilhelm Sjöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Hägg in the 62nd minute of play. In the 70th minute Ludwig Hägg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Sjöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BK Bomben's Jörn Fredriksson was substituted for Rikard Nordin. BK Bomben's Jan-Erik Lövskog was substituted for Mikael Sjögren. Kent Finsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Wilhelm Sjöberg made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Kent Finsberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilhelm Sjöberg. That made the score 0-2 after 88 minutes of play.
