The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Fernström got free with Ksawery Bondel in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Fernström in the 7th minute of play forced AC Mayonnaise's goalkeeper Ksawery Bondel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Simon Clementsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Erik Ivarsson. Heavy Balls FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Clementsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Felix Grubb hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Heavy Balls FC defense, Trey Coats kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Erik Ivarsson. The Heavy Balls FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Erik Ivarsson should have stopped the shot. Ksawery Bondel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paşa Bollen, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Wallengren got free with Ksawery Bondel in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Per Fernström, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Åke Odeen came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the AC Mayonnaise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Odeen couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Åke Odeen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Mayonnaise fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sven-Erik Ivarsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Clementsson went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Sven-Erik Ivarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ading Mahuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 68 minutes of play, AC Mayonnaise's Åke Odeen made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Erik Ivarsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ading Mahuse charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ading Mahuse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Heavy Balls FC's Boris Målare was substituted for Pontus Wennerquist. In the 72nd match minute, AC Mayonnaise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ading Mahuse to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, AC Mayonnaise's Niklas Christoffersson got a free kick in the 78th minute. Heavy Balls FC's Sven-Erik Ivarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Lenberg in the 89th minute of play. With his leg Sven-Erik Ivarsson managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when AC Mayonnaise's Jan Göransson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. AC Mayonnaise's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
