The corner was taken by Egil Byström in the 12th minute. When Osvald Mattsson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 14 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Di Xing Yu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The Vilbergen Boys Club fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Vilbergen Boys Club's Conny Josefsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Andy Robertsson fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vänge IF's protests and gave Andy Robertsson a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conny Josefsson in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Di Xing Yu saved Vänge IF from getting behind. Di Xing Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klas Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute of the match Vilbergen Boys Club got a corner. Vänge IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Egil Byström ran over to the corner to take the kick. 27 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Conny Josefsson came free, but Di Xing Yu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Osvald Mattsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vilbergen Boys Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 40th minute Conny Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Di Xing Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vilbergen Boys Club's goalkeeper Nils Tunander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Vänge IF's Dan Mårtensson was substituted for Joel Lidström. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conny Josefsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Vänge IF's Schorsch Schmalzbauer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils Tunander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Di Xing Yu made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Kenny Liljeström sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute Osvald Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Di Xing Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Tunander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Schorsch Schmalzbauer went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After 75 minutes, Mihai Stratulat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vänge IF and the Vilbergen Boys Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Osvald Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 80 minutes into the match, Vilbergen Boys Club's goal looked a bit too open when Schorsch Schmalzbauer came free, but Nils Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Schorsch Schmalzbauer notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Vilbergen Boys Club's Nils Tunander. Nils Tunander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Schorsch Schmalzbauer might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils Tunander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Schorsch Schmalzbauer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute, Johannes Strömberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vänge IF's Di Xing Yu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Vänge IF from getting a goal against them. Di Xing Yu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kenny Liljeström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 98 minute of play.
