Hami Tuna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute Sören Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hami Tuna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mark Smed in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Johan Engman hit a great ball. Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's Roger Stenquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin from getting a goal against them. Hami Tuna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Göransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes Band Of Brothers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mark Smed who took care of the corner kick. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Roger Stenquist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's Roger Stenquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin from getting a goal against them. Charles Emander charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a little luck, Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's Roger Stenquist got control of the ball when Carl Caniggia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anders Holmgren to make the kick off. Roger Stenquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Holmgren in the 50th minute of play. In the 56th minute Stanley St Clair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Stenquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Stenquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herman Kleen in the 58th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claes Bjurström in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hami Tuna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hami Tuna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Göransson in the 61st minute of play. Carl Caniggia succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 65 minutes into the match, Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Caniggia came free, but Roger Stenquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's Hami Tuna threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rickard Göransson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Band Of Brothers's Anders Holmgren in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's goalie prevented a goal. Charles Emander received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hami Tuna came out and tried to block the shot, but Charles Emander slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 81st minute. Roger Stenquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Caniggia, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute Herman Kleen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Stenquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herman Kleen hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Band Of Brothers's Dino Ciccarelli was substituted for Carl Caniggia. In the 91st minute, Herman Kleen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
