After 20 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Svante Gustafsson. 22 minutes into the game, Jörn Holm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ian Wright scored 2-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carl Engström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jörn Holm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Carl Engström made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Jörn Holm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 52 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Ludwig Ståhlman.
