The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Roger Stenquist, was totally fooled by SoS FC's Tommy Boylin, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Boylin in the 21st minute of play forced Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's goalkeeper Roger Stenquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Roger Stenquist managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when SoS FC's Pedrão de Amorim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. SoS FC's Tommy Boylin got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Engman in the 37th minute of play forced SoS FC's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute SoS FC were awarded a corner. Christer Bratt went to the cornerflag to take it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's Roger Stenquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Bratt in the 62nd minute of play. SoS FC's Guaberto Tudela was substituted for Marek Jaraczewski. Roger Stenquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roger Stenquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Boylin in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SoS FC had won after a very even match.
