Ian Wright could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Marcos Basso made a huge save. Christoffer Modig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Kielstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a little luck, The Shadows's Marcos Basso got control of the ball when Ian Wright tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gencer Hisarcık had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Oakcroft Thrashers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
