Spectators: 9225 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) In the 3rd minute, Linköpings AIK's Zoltán Újfalussy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isaltino Durr. Isaltino Durr yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Zoltán Újfalussy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Algitas Kaščiukaitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Algitas Kaščiukaitis came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Sävedalen's goal looked a bit too open when Zoltán Újfalussy came free, but Isaltino Durr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Sävedalen's Isaltino Durr got control of the ball when Zoltán Újfalussy tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Algitas Kaščiukaitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaltino Durr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoltán Újfalussy, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Jimmy Olsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Algitas Kaščiukaitis went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Linköpings AIK's Folke Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 36th minute. A collision led to Linköpings AIK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Nils Svensson hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Lennart Larsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson didn't even have to move. Johan Johansson came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Isaltino Durr could save by the left post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Algitas Kaščiukaitis made the kick off in the second half. Sävedalen made a substitution. Torsten Ekeroth replaced Per Mårtensson. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Folke Abrahamsson with Zoltán Újfalussy as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson got control of the ball when Junior Junior tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jimmy Olsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Björklund's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Björklund in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmy Olsson saved Linköpings AIK from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Torsten Ekeroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the game, Junior Junior recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jimmy Olsson. Junior Junior showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Junior Junior could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Jimmy Olsson made a huge save. Jimmy Olsson came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Sävedalen's Torsten Ekeroth. But to his dismay, Torsten Ekeroth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the last second Jimmy Olsson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tomas Björklund in the 90thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Sävedalen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lennart Larsson in the 91st minute. The corner led Sävedalen's Lennart Larsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Jimmy Olsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sävedalen had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
