Per-Erik Hjortberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Stål in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Divide et impera's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Charlie Löfgren was slow to take the kick. During this time Garsås IF's players had a chance to rest. Per-Erik Hjortberg stood somewhat misplaced when Ola Lund came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ola Lund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Per-Erik Hjortberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 67th minute Sven-Ove Stål shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Erik Hjortberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cui Liang Yue might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfons Sjö. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
