Bebben Johanssons short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Timmy Kjellkvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 15thth minute of the game Viorel Moldovan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Moldovan came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Bebben Johansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Golden Lions FC's Markus Svensson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timmy Kjellkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 29th minute Golden Lions FC were awarded a corner. Cosme Larpe went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Cosme Larpe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Timmy Kjellkvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A hard shot 31 in the game by Markus Svensson from a close distance when the talented Timmy Kjellkvist managed to make a qualified save. FC Hans's players were relieved. Timmy Kjellkvist was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Mats Nyström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mats Nyström really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. In the 43rd minute, Nils-Erik Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Nyström in the 44th minute of play forced FC Hans's goalkeeper Timmy Kjellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Hans's Timmy Kjellkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save FC Hans from getting a goal against them. Nils-Erik Fransson hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viorel Moldovan to strike the kick off in the second half. Viorel Moldovan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anders Lundqvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC Hans were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Golden Lions FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dan Waller took the corner. 54 minutes into the match, FC Hans's goal looked a bit too open when Bebben Johansson came free, but Timmy Kjellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosme Larpe during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Hans's Ulf Arvidsson was substituted for Viorel Moldovan. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Arvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some careless play in the Golden Lions FC defense, Firman Morientes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anders Lundqvist. The Golden Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anders Lundqvist should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute of the match, Ulf Arvidsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anders Lundqvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 93rd minute, Firman Morientes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anders Lundqvist. The goal made the score 3-4. The FC Hans players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
