The supporters of FC Hans booed when TEAM Hawkeye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Blomberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in TEAM Hawkeye's zone, Viorel Moldovan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Knut Bergström came out of the goal and Viorel Moldovan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind TEAM Hawkeye's goalkeeper Knut Bergström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, FC Hans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz Sanches to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Håkan Dahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TEAM Hawkeye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Håkan Dahlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Knut Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Moldovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. TEAM Hawkeye's Knut Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Moldovan in the 21st minute of play. Timmy Kjellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Lipinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Timmy Kjellkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herbert Lipinski's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match TEAM Hawkeye got a corner. FC Hans's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Håkan Dahlberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Håkan Dahlberg made a great header on TEAM Hawkeye's corner, it was just that FC Hans's Timmy Kjellkvist managed to reach the ball for a save. TEAM Hawkeye's Knut Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Moldovan in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by TEAM Hawkeye's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 41st minute Emílio Pessoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viorel Moldovan to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Moldovan in the 56th minute of play forced TEAM Hawkeye's goalkeeper Knut Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Hans were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after TEAM Hawkeye's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erland Norberg took the corner. The corner led FC Hans's Erland Norberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Knut Bergström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 81st minute, Erland Trolle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timmy Kjellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Recemill, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, TEAM Hawkeye's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Arvidsson came free, but Knut Bergström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute, Jonas Ståhlberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Hans fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
