Garsås IF's Göran Lindholm managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ralf Blomberg in the 5 minute of the game. When Ola Lund came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Garsås IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ola Lund couldn't finish the play. Alfons Sjö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Lipinski in the 7th minute of play. Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Lipinski in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's Ola Lund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Knut Bergström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Håkan Dahlberg made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Garsås IF's Bror Ståhlman. 39 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Moreno came free, but Alfons Sjö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TEAM Hawkeye made a substitution. Şükrü Ülgenalp replaced Herbert Lipinski. Knut Bergström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Lund in the 54th minute of the match. After 55 minutes of play, TEAM Hawkeye's Angel Recemill made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfons Sjö was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's goalkeeper Alfons Sjö had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrik Lagerberg. Garsås IF's Ola Lund got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Garsås IF made a substitution. Oskar Påk replaced Enrico Cesaroni. Garsås IF's Sven-Ove Stål was substituted for Ola Lund. Knut Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål in the 81st minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Patrik Lagerberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfons Sjö. Patrik Lagerberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Stål in the 93rd minute of play forced TEAM Hawkeye's goalkeeper Knut Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The TEAM Hawkeye players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
