Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tomasz Mielak made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Grodna's goalkeeper Witold Zuraw had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olgierd Zieba. In the 6th minute, Grodna's Dariusz Czerniak seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dariusz Czerniak the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Grodna protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dariusz Czerniak had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Grodna! When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Bódgaj's Zenon Kluska got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Witold Zuraw. Roman Bejger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislaw Magdziarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Witold Zuraw made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Olgierd Zieba sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute, Witold Harendarski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Witold Zuraw. The goal made the score 2-0. Witold Zuraw was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lucjan Sitko. In the 30th minute, Bódgaj's Olgierd Zieba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Grodna's Witold Zuraw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Zdanowicz in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, Grodna's Witold Zuraw got control of the ball when Olgierd Zieba tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Lucjan Sitko fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bódgaj's protests and gave Lucjan Sitko a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Grodna booed when Bódgaj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Sitko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grodna's Artur Pasterski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bódgaj. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Borys Napierkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Borys Napierkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Bejger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Witold Zuraw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Zdanowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grodna's Witold Zuraw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Mielak in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match, Borys Napierkowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roman Bejger saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 61 minutes into the match, Borys Napierkowski notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Bódgaj's Roman Bejger. Roman Bejger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute, Borys Napierkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grodna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. If Olgierd Zieba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Grodna's Borys Napierkowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Bejger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 79th minute, Juliusz Turak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Grodna booed when Bódgaj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Sitko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borys Napierkowski struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Roman Bejger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grodna. In the 85th minute, Stanislaw Magdziarz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Bejger was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Witold Zuraw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Mielak in the 89th minute of play. If Borys Napierkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bódgaj getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Marian Soliwoda hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Borys Napierkowski in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Bejger saved Bódgaj from getting behind. In the 96th minute Tomasz Mielak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witold Zuraw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grodna played a much better game than Bódgaj and deserved their victory. The Bódgaj players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
