In the 3rdth minute of the game Zula Kornatowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GKS Katowice's Levente Kiss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to GKS Katowice getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Hieronim Wydrych hit a great ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Ziemowit Piczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS Krostoszowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziemowit Piczak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Levente Kiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziemowit Piczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GKS Katowice's Levente Kiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Marchewka in the 13th minute of play. Hieronim Wydrych recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Slawomir Imbor kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Ziemowit Piczak fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GKS Krostoszowice's protests and gave Ziemowit Piczak a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, GKS Krostoszowice's Ziemowit Piczak got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Damian Ruszkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Roch Malik succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Levente Kiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zula Kornatowski in the 29th minute of the match. Pankracy Wielopolski's late challenge caught a GKS Katowice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pankracy Wielopolski helped the player get up and apologised. Pankracy Wielopolski kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Ziemowit Piczak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zula Kornatowski was the one to do the kick off. GKS Katowice's Roch Malik pulled a muscle in his back after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 51 minutes, Witomir Tylenda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GKS Krostoszowice and the GKS Katowice players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of GKS Katowice booed when GKS Krostoszowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witomir Tylenda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hieronim Wydrych struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Patryk Kilarski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GKS Katowice. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zula Kornatowski in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Levente Kiss saved GKS Katowice from getting behind. After 57 played minutes GKS Krostoszowice got a freekick which was hit by Witold Marchewka. When Zula Kornatowski fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GKS Krostoszowice's protests and gave Zula Kornatowski a yellow card for diving instead. Zula Kornatowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Levente Kiss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobiasz Wyrzykowski during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, GKS Katowice's Tobiasz Wyrzykowski got a free kick in the 70th minute. When Zula Kornatowski came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the GKS Krostoszowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zula Kornatowski couldn't finish the play. Ziemowit Piczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, GKS Katowice's Levente Kiss got control of the ball when Zachary Fabiszak tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Kornatowski came free, but Levente Kiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th match minute, GKS Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hieronim Wydrych to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Ziemowit Piczak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GKS Krostoszowice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The GKS Krostoszowice supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GKS Krostoszowice would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
