The crowd rose to their feet as Edward Lisewski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tolek Budrewicz. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Wojciech Mudry hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Iwo Gdowik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of CKS Armia Zaglebia booed when Biała Gwiazda -KRK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wojciech Mudry didn't get a good kick on the ball. CKS Armia Zaglebia were furious when Krzysztof Piglowski was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Biała Gwiazda -KRK booed when CKS Armia Zaglebia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, CKS Armia Zaglebia's goalkeeper Tolek Budrewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Lisewski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Lisewski got free with Tolek Budrewicz in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, CKS Armia Zaglebia's Jaroslaw Mitus got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Edward Lisewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tolek Budrewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0.

Tolek Budrewicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the CKS Armia Zaglebia defense, Edward Lisewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tolek Budrewicz. The CKS Armia Zaglebia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tolek Budrewicz should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Edward Lisewski made a precise shot to the right of Tolek Budrewicz. CKS Armia Zaglebia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Leon Fafinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. CKS Armia Zaglebia's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Fafinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zenon Rawa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, CKS Armia Zaglebia's Iwo Gdowik got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Edward Lisewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tolek Budrewicz having to make a save. Donald Kutas's late challenge caught a CKS Armia Zaglebia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donald Kutas helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Biała Gwiazda -KRK got a freekick which was hit by Donald Kutas. Edward Lisewski took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tolek Budrewicz. Tolek Budrewicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. A collision led to CKS Armia Zaglebia getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Iwo Gdowik hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Edward Lisewski made a precise shot to the right of Tolek Budrewicz. CKS Armia Zaglebia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. 89 minutes into the game, Biała Gwiazda -KRK's Edward Lisewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tolek Budrewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Tolek Budrewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Lisewski in the 91st minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Edward Lisewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Many of CKS Armia Zaglebia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. CKS Armia Zaglebia may have spent more time on the ball, but Biała Gwiazda -KRK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
