After a defensive mix-up in Szachtior Bytom's zone, Denílson Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Szymon Cempa came out of the goal and Denílson Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 14 in the game by Wasyl Kornatowski from a close distance when the talented Szymon Cempa managed to make a qualified save. Szachtior Bytom's players were relieved. After some careless play in the FC WEGLINEK defense, Ryszard Plachetka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karol Trochowski. The FC WEGLINEK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karol Trochowski should have stopped the shot. Szachtior Bytom's Szymon Cempa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Szachtior Bytom from getting a goal against them. Szymon Cempa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcin Ciechocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wasyl Kornatowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC WEGLINEK's Karol Trochowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boleslaw Daszkowski in the 28th minute of play. If Wasyl Kornatowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 minutes, Wasyl Kornatowski made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Szachtior Bytom's Szymon Cempa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Denílson Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denílson Pinheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes FC WEGLINEK got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Pinheiro. Wasyl Kornatowski hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Wasyl Kornatowski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Szymon Cempa made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Artur Barniszke sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Wasyl Kornatowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Szymon Cempa. Szachtior Bytom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wasyl Kornatowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Boleslaw Daszkowski hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Wasyl Kornatowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wasyl Kornatowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Wasyl Kornatowski made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Szachtior Bytom's Szymon Cempa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Szymon Cempa came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by FC WEGLINEK's Wasyl Kornatowski. But to his dismay, Wasyl Kornatowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 59th minute, Wasyl Kornatowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC WEGLINEK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Szymon Cempa came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by FC WEGLINEK's Wasyl Kornatowski. But to his dismay, Wasyl Kornatowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. If Wasyl Kornatowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Szymon Cempa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wasyl Kornatowski's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryszard Plachetka during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ryszard Plachetka hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 76 minutes, Wasyl Kornatowski made it 9-1 with a short kick to the right side. Szachtior Bytom's Szymon Cempa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC WEGLINEK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcin Ciechocki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Szachtior Bytom's goal looked a bit too open when Wasyl Kornatowski came free, but Szymon Cempa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szachtior Bytom's Szymon Cempa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wasyl Kornatowski in the 90th minute of play. If Wasyl Kornatowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
