Widzew Łódź's Boleslaw Kaczorowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Degutis in the 4th minute of play. Bliszczyce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobald Degutis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Bliszczyce's Fryderyk Wielkopolski got control of the ball when Roman Fleischer tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Teobald Degutis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boleslaw Kaczorowski. Widzew Łódź's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobald Degutis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th minute, Iwo Grucza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigiusz Lizewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Boleslaw Kaczorowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaroslaw Lewkowicz hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Leonard Piglowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Kaczorowski having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Widzew Łódź's Radomil Bondel got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 63rd minute, Bliszczyce's Teobald Degutis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. After some careless play in the Widzew Łódź defense, Teobald Degutis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boleslaw Kaczorowski. The Widzew Łódź fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boleslaw Kaczorowski should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Widzew Łódź booed when Bliszczyce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwo Grucza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fryderyk Wielkopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Czerniejewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Teobald Degutis came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Bliszczyce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobald Degutis couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Iwo Grucza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigiusz Lizewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Kaczorowski having to interfere. If Teobald Degutis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bliszczyce played a much better game than Widzew Łódź and deserved their victory. The Widzew Łódź players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
