When Tadeusz Wielgopolski fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zator Wołów's protests and gave Tadeusz Wielgopolski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Tadeusz Wielgopolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lubinska's Waldemar Niedzwiecki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Lubinska from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Jaruzelski in the 28th minute of play forced Zator Wołów's goalkeeper Severiano Romo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Krzysztof Kaczorowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norbert Obuchowicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Waldemar Niedzwiecki came out and tried to block the shot, but Norbert Obuchowicz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the game, Zator Wołów's Tadeusz Wielgopolski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldemar Niedzwiecki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Zachary Gongolewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damazy Jaruzelski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Boje Kaels kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Lubinska's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Obuchowicz came free, but Waldemar Niedzwiecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Krzysztof Kaczorowski came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Lubinska fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krzysztof Kaczorowski couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute Zachary Gongolewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Niedzwiecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zator Wołów getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Stasio Glembin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Zator Wołów's zone, Damazy Jaruzelski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Romo came out of the goal and Damazy Jaruzelski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute Jan Ankiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Tadeusz Wielgopolski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Waldemar Niedzwiecki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Zator Wołów booed when Lubinska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Ankiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zator Wołów fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lubinska had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
