Ted Biörkquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Cwojdak in the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Witold Skaradoski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Wladyslaw Szel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute, Witold Skaradoski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wladyslaw Szel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, 1. FC Katowice's 乔渊庭 got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Witold Skaradoski made a precise shot to the right of Wladyslaw Szel. Couchette Blanc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Witold Skaradoski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wladyslaw Szel having to interfere. In the 22ndth minute of the game Witold Skaradoski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Couchette Blanc's Wladyslaw Szel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When 1. FC Katowice's Witold Skaradoski in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Couchette Blanc's goalie prevented a goal. In the 26th minute, Zbyszko Kinic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The audience was convinced that Witold Skaradoski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wladyslaw Szel was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. If Radoslaw Cytrynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Witold Skaradoski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wladyslaw Szel. Couchette Blanc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witold Skaradoski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Witold Skaradoski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wladyslaw Szel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute, Witold Skaradoski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Wladyslaw Szel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Skaradoski in the 56th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, 1. FC Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Cwojdak came free, but Ted Biörkquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wladyslaw Szel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witold Skaradoski, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Couchette Blanc's zone, 乔渊庭 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wladyslaw Szel came out of the goal and 乔渊庭 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Witold Skaradoski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1. FC Katowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witold Skaradoski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Witold Skaradoski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wladyslaw Szel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. If Zbyszko Kinic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigiusz Ewertowski kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Witold Skaradoski was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. 1. FC Katowice's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Witold Skaradoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 1. FC Katowice's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
