With his leg Gilbert Wicherek managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Partizan Limanowa's Ignacy Dranka fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ignacy Dranka succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 17th playminute. Motor Lublin's Gilbert Wicherek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Motor Lublin from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Motor Lublin's Marek Pietras got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ignacy Dranka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Partizan Limanowa's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacy Dranka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbert Wicherek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roland Zielinski's late challenge caught a Partizan Limanowa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After 26 played minutes Motor Lublin got a freekick which was hit by Roland Zielinski. Gilbert Wicherek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Augustyn in the 26th minute of the match. Ignacy Dranka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gilbert Wicherek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Olgierd Marek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilbert Wicherek was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hieronim Plucinik made a kick off. If Ignacy Dranka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Olgierd Babicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacy Dranka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th match minute, Motor Lublin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olgierd Babicki to maneuver through the defense. After 63 minutes, Boleslaw Augustyn made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Motor Lublin's Gilbert Wicherek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Marek Pietras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
