Robert Kaznocha scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franciszek Gondek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Prusinowski in the 8th minute of play forced Poznań Power's goalkeeper Franciszek Gondek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franciszek Gondek came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Legia Warszawa-Wola's Robert Kaznocha. But to his dismay, Robert Kaznocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Dawid Prusinowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franciszek Gondek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Kaznocha in the 18th minute of play. Ksawery Gotfryd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Robert Kaznocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Kaznocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Franciszek Gondek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marian Sobczak hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Dawid Prusinowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Poznań Power's goalkeeper Franciszek Gondek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Franciszek Gondek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawid Prusinowski in the 36th minute of the match. Dawid Prusinowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Franciszek Gondek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dawid Prusinowski in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franciszek Gondek saved Poznań Power from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Robert Kaznocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franciszek Gondek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 45th match minute, Legia Warszawa-Wola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boguslaw Dzerwucki to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dawid Prusinowski made the kick off in the second half. Walery Marchefka hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the game, Legia Warszawa-Wola's Robert Kaznocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franciszek Gondek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 61 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa-Wola's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Zalipski came free, but Hieronim Sniegowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Kaznocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Franciszek Gondek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Poznań Power's Franciszek Gondek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Poznań Power from getting a goal against them. After 69 minutes, Wiktor Nienajadlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legia Warszawa-Wola and the Poznań Power players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Legia Warszawa-Wola fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! 1-5 became the score in the 73rd minute when Robert Kaznocha elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Franciszek Gondek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dawid Prusinowski in the 87th minute of play. Hieronim Sniegowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Zalipski in the 93rd minute of the match. Robert Kaznocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franciszek Gondek having to make a save. The Legia Warszawa-Wola players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
