After 32 played minutes KS Zaborowo got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Filipowski. 34 minutes into the match, KS Zaborowo's goal looked a bit too open when Walery Adamus came free, but Lech Ptaszek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave XTEAM Zabrze a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tolek Molski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KS Zaborowo's Lech Ptaszek. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 54th minute, Radomil Wietrzychowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lech Ptaszek was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of XTEAM Zabrze booed when KS Zaborowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Wiatrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes, XTEAM Zabrze's Tolek Molski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lech Ptaszek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Wietrzychowski in the 78th minute of play forced KS Zaborowo's goalkeeper Lech Ptaszek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to KS Zaborowo getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Zdzislaw Filipowski hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Borys Henryk got free with Walery Penkalski in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Janusz Labus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. XTEAM Zabrze's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Janusz Labus 97 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2.
