Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ksawery Gacki started the match with the kick off. Ksawery Gacki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Waldemar Gruchacz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 6 in the game by Mieszko Puch from a close distance when the talented Jan Szostak managed to make a qualified save. GKS Piast's players were relieved. GKS Piast's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Waclaw Cieslak 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tytus Charlap during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes FC Piłat got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Charlap. Waldemar Gruchacz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Makowski's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 21 minutes into the match, GKS Piast's goalkeeper Jan Szostak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mieszko Czermak. Stasio Kostka hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Waldemar Gruchacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksawery Gacki in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Waclaw Cieslak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan Szostak, 2-0. Ksawery Gacki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th match minute, FC Piłat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslaw Sienkowski to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, GKS Piast's Jan Makowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waldemar Gruchacz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugon Zajac's late challenge caught a GKS Piast's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugon Zajac helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes FC Piłat got a freekick which was hit by Hugon Zajac. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mieszko Czermak was the one to do the kick off. Jan Szostak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waclaw Cieslak in the 51st minute of play. FC Piłat were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after GKS Piast's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mieszko Czermak took the corner. Jan Makowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Gruchacz having to interfere. Jan Makowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Waldemar Gruchacz made a huge save. After having played for 59 minutes, Mieszko Czermak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Piłat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mieszko Czermak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wieslaw Obuchowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, FC Piłat's Waclaw Cieslak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Szostak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Waclaw Cieslak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, GKS Piast's goal looked a bit too open when Mieszko Czermak came free, but Jan Szostak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waclaw Cieslak in the 87th minute of play forced GKS Piast's goalkeeper Jan Szostak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Piłat were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after GKS Piast's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mieszko Czermak took the corner. The corner ended in Mieszko Czermak almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GKS Piast's Jan Szostak did a great save. Jan Szostak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waclaw Cieslak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rdth minute of the game Mieszko Czermak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GKS Piast's Jan Szostak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jan Makowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the FC Piłat players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
