Beskid Skoczów's Damian Bazan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Beskid Skoczów from getting a goal against them. After 9 minutes, Zdzislaw Ziomkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beskid Skoczów and the Fjorentina players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Beskid Skoczów's Damian Bazan got control of the ball when Radomil Komanski tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wincent Brataniec to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marek Werra during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
