Witold Szarmach might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zygmunt Gacek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Witold Szarmach ran back to his position shaking his head. Dariusz Trynda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Izydor Kaczanek hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 13thth minute of the game Dariusz Trynda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trzciano's Zygmunt Gacek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wlodzimierz Pacholewski struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Rafal Mockiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trzciano. Zygmunt Gacek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Witold Szarmach in the 25th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Orzeł Kraków's Dariusz Trynda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zygmunt Gacek. That made the score 1-1 after 30 minutes of play. Andrzej Flis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rafal Mockiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Orzeł Kraków getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gilbert Ramzinski hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Wlodzimierz Pacholewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafal Mockiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Flis in the 36th minute of play forced Orzeł Kraków's goalkeeper Rafal Mockiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Orzeł Kraków getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Wieslaw Brudzisz hit a great ball. Witold Szarmach who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Zygmunt Gacek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 41st minute of the match Witomir Pstrongowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafal Mockiewicz skillfully saved the ball. Rafal Mockiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Pacholewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrzej Flis to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Flis in the 53rd minute of play forced Orzeł Kraków's goalkeeper Rafal Mockiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witold Szarmach scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zygmunt Gacek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Witold Szarmach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zygmunt Gacek having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dariusz Trynda in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zygmunt Gacek saved Trzciano from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Teofil Antoszewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Witold Szarmach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Gacek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dariusz Trynda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trzciano's goalkeeper Zygmunt Gacek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teofil Antoszewski hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Trzciano's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Szarmach came free, but Zygmunt Gacek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Orzeł Kraków's Witold Szarmach in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trzciano's goalie prevented a goal. Trzciano's Zygmunt Gacek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Szarmach in the 93rd minute of play. Orzeł Kraków were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Trzciano for a fine match.
