After some careless play in the Krzyki defense, Teofil Smolarek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boguslaw Jaktorowo. The Krzyki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boguslaw Jaktorowo should have stopped the shot. If Teofil Smolarek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Wawrzyniec Kazczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Jaktorowo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucjan Ankiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Wawrzyniec Kazczyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boguslaw Jaktorowo was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Wawrzyniec Kazczyk hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Teofil Smolarek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soko Sanok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofil Smolarek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Zachariasz Tyskie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Sokolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Krzyki booed when Soko Sanok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wawrzyniec Kazczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milosz Gniewek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Boguslaw Jaktorowo. Krzyki's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Teofil Smolarek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Krzyki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezary Mietus to maneuver through the defense. If Filip Sokolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zachariasz Tyskie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Krzyki's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Krzyki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Lucjan Rojewski lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 82nd minute, one of Krzyki:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Krzyki. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Soko Sanok. Przemyslaw Majczyk stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Boguslaw Jaktorowo. 2-2. 93 minutes into the match, Waldemar Raszek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zachariasz Tyskie. Soko Sanok's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldemar Raszek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Krzyki's zone, Teofil Smolarek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boguslaw Jaktorowo came out of the goal and Teofil Smolarek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Krzyki players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
