Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Waclaw Zacharczyk took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Gryf Szczecin booed when WKS Łyna Rogóż was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pankracy Zieba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in WKS Łyna Rogóż's zone, Stasio Liberko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juliusz Majewski came out of the goal and Stasio Liberko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Stasio Liberko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th match minute, Gryf Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radoslaw Lech to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Bondel in the 16th minute of play forced WKS Łyna Rogóż's goalkeeper Juliusz Majewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waclaw Zacharczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Olaf Kuszczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juliusz Majewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stasio Liberko in the 25th minute. Wlodzimierz Bondel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marian Petka hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Marcin Wejta kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Juliusz Majewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wlodzimierz Bondel in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Wlodzimierz Bondel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juliusz Majewski. Wlodzimierz Bondel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wlodzimierz Bondel made a kick off. After 52 played minutes WKS Łyna Rogóż got a freekick which was hit by Aureliusz Gurgul. After a rather tough play, Gryf Szczecin's Leon Brzeszczak got a free kick in the 56th minute. Olaf Kuszczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Zacharczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Waclaw Zacharczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WKS Łyna Rogóż's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waclaw Zacharczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute Waclaw Zacharczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Kuszczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaf Kuszczak made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Gustaw Maciejewski sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, WKS Łyna Rogóż's Edgar Kloczko got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Wlodzimierz Bondel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gryf Szczecin's Olaf Kuszczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waclaw Zacharczyk in the 82nd minute of play. Olaf Kuszczak was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Waclaw Zacharczyk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Waclaw Zacharczyk really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After 87 played minutes WKS Łyna Rogóż got a freekick which was hit by Jakub Lisewski. Gustaw Maciejewski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Olaf Kuszczak when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
