Ryś Pogórze's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Herbert Penkalski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bogoria Grodzisk Maz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ryś Pogórze the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bogoria Grodzisk Maz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Bogdan Pryputnicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Turacki in the 29th minute of play. Roch Podolski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teofil Olejasz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Tomasz Przewozik hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Roch Podolski came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ryś Pogórze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roch Podolski couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Jurand Ziemba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute Roch Podolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofil Olejasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roch Podolski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jurand Ziemba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ryś Pogórze's supporters rose to their feet, but Jurand Ziemba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofil Olejasz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teofil Olejasz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olgierd Kasperowicz went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Ryś Pogórze getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mikolaj Frankowski hit a great ball. If Roch Podolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kazimierz Bielejewski's late challenge caught a Ryś Pogórze's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kazimierz Bielejewski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ryś Pogórze booed when Bogoria Grodzisk Maz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazimierz Bielejewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cyprian Turacki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 82 minutes, Marek Soroka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bogoria Grodzisk Maz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marek Soroka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teofil Olejasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Podolski in the 88th minute of the match. Cyprian Turacki might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bogdan Pryputnicki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cyprian Turacki ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd match minute, Ryś Pogórze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Kojder to maneuver through the defense. Marek Soroka struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Bogdan Pryputnicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bogoria Grodzisk Maz.
