An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Korytkowski in the 17th minute of play forced KS Piast Cieszyn's goalkeeper Krzysztof Lamczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krzysztof Lamczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roch Siembab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogdan Fiszer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witold Oleszak having to interfere. A collision led to Greenburger FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Mieszko Grajewski hit a great ball. Witold Oleszak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwan Nowak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wasyl Karaszkiewicz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Krzysztof Lamczyk. KS Piast Cieszyn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. KS Piast Cieszyn's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
