Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zenon Popowicz took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 2 minutes, Zenon Popowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Langenbrück SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zenon Popowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 4th minute, Wincent Serwacki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 6 played minutes WrtsW got a freekick which was hit by Slawomir Wos. Gilbert Smolak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Gondek having to interfere. When Gilbert Smolak came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Langenbrück SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Smolak couldn't finish the play. Zenon Popowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Gondek having to interfere. Gilbert Smolak's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tomasz Gondek firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Popowicz in the 23rd minute of play forced WrtsW's goalkeeper Tomasz Gondek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Mieszko Dziedziak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WrtsW fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in WrtsW's zone, Gilbert Smolak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Gondek came out of the goal and Gilbert Smolak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomasz Gondek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Popowicz in the 34th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Gilbert Smolak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zenon Popowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tomasz Gondek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mieszko Dziedziak was the one to do the kick off. If Zenon Popowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, Zenon Popowicz notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of WrtsW's Tomasz Gondek. Tomasz Gondek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomasz Gondek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Popowicz in the 58th minute of play. Gilbert Smolak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Tomasz Gondek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Andrzej Wejta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Langenbrück SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WrtsW the free kick. Andrzej Wejta kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Robert Chrzan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mieszko Dziedziak, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, WrtsW's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Popowicz came free, but Tomasz Gondek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes WrtsW's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hieronim Majkowski who took care of the corner kick. Slawomir Patora tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Tomasz Gondek. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-1 in the 69th minute. If Gilbert Smolak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute Zenon Popowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Gondek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5-1 became the score in the 78th minute when Zenon Popowicz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Mieszko Dziedziak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomasz Gondek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Popowicz in the 84th minute of the match. After 93rd play minutes Gilbert Smolak shot 7-1, a short shot which went by Tomasz Gondek and just under the crossbar into goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Langenbrück SA fully deserved thier win.
