Wit Skaradoski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Wit Skaradoski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateusz Grocholski, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 16 played minutes MARKLAN SOSNOWIEC got a freekick which was hit by Bartosz Brodzki. Patryk Kisiel's late challenge caught a MARKLAN SOSNOWIEC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patryk Kisiel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Stawno SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Kisiel to maneuver through the defense. Witold Chrzan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Wit Skaradoski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stawno SA's Wit Skaradoski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateusz Grocholski in the 35th minute of play. Mateusz Grocholski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mateusz Grocholski came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the MARKLAN SOSNOWIEC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateusz Grocholski couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Mateusz Grocholski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Janusz Zdanowicz made a kick off.
