Marcin Merski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Leszek Treppa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emil Urban, passed just outside the right post. In the 22nd minute Leszek Treppa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Urban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes GROM Leśno got a freekick which was hit by Bogumil Rakiewicz. Leszek Treppa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Emil Urban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Marcin Merski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apolonja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcin Merski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GROM Leśno reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wincent Rakoski to make the kick off. After 75 minutes, Bogumil Rakiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GROM Leśno and the Apolonja players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, GROM Leśno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Rakiewicz to maneuver through the defense.
