Spectators: 6988 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 20) Bogdan Golota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Gonsiewski having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, FC Katrina's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Golota came free, but Iwan Gonsiewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes of play, Kononowicze's Kajetan Soroka made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iwan Gonsiewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Katrina's Arkadiusz Mosiniak got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, FC Katrina's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Golota came free, but Iwan Gonsiewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bogdan Golota fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kononowicze's protests and gave Bogdan Golota a yellow card for diving instead. Bogdan Golota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Gonsiewski having to interfere. Iwan Gonsiewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kajetan Soroka's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Iwan Gonsiewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Golota in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Kajetan Soroka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kononowicze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kajetan Soroka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iwan Gonsiewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Golota, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Katrina's zone, Bogdan Golota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Gonsiewski came out of the goal and Bogdan Golota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Kononowicze's Kajetan Soroka in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Katrina's goalie prevented a goal. Ksawery Pracki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arkadiusz Mosiniak in the 43rd minute. Ksawery Pracki was a little too slow when Leon Siekierka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leon Siekierka to make the kick off. Iwan Gonsiewski stood somewhat misplaced when Bogdan Golota came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 54 minute. After 66 minutes, Olgierd Zbydniowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kononowicze and the FC Katrina players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Kononowicze got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Zbydniowski. Kajetan Soroka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kononowicze's Kajetan Soroka got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Katrina's goalkeeper Iwan Gonsiewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Kajetan Soroka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iwan Gonsiewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Golota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iwan Gonsiewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kajetan Soroka in the 88th minute. Iwan Gonsiewski stood somewhat misplaced when Bogdan Golota came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 89 minute. Kononowicze's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
