Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Olimpia Elbląg's Czeslaw Andrysiak started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Jandryca in the 5th minute of play forced Górnik Z's goalkeeper Izydor Golembiewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Klement Pietras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Górnik Z's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klement Pietras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Górnik Z's Roland Barowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wawrzyniec Makarewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klement Pietras in the 14th minute of the match. If Klement Pietras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Górnik Z's Izydor Golembiewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Andrysiak in the 23rd minute of play. Bartosz Sokolski kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Czeslaw Andrysiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Izydor Golembiewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Olimpia Elbląg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Borcz to maneuver through the defense. Roland Barowicz had several of the Olimpia Elbląg's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Wawrzyniec Makarewicz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Roland Barowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edward Jandryca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Klement Pietras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miroslaw Czajka charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Wawrzyniec Makarewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Górnik Z. The supporters of Górnik Z booed when Olimpia Elbląg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Marajda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Barowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Makarewicz having to interfere. After some careless play in the Olimpia Elbląg defense, Klement Pietras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wawrzyniec Makarewicz. The Olimpia Elbląg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wawrzyniec Makarewicz should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Górnik Z getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Teofil Glozor hit a great ball. Slawomir Tyszka hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Górnik Z's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Andrysiak came free, but Izydor Golembiewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wawrzyniec Makarewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klement Pietras, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
