The referee ignored GrajkiZNajki's protests and gave Milosz Tamulewicz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, GrajkiZNajki's Milosz Tamulewicz got a free kick in the 8th minute. Patryk Winszman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucjan Cieslak went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. GrajkiZNajki's Lucjan Cieslak got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Mlodzi Gniewni's goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Przybyciel came free, but Patryk Winszman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tanek Bartochowski fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mlodzi Gniewni's protests and gave Tanek Bartochowski a yellow card for diving instead. If Przemyslaw Przybyciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 24th minute of the match Tanek Bartochowski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tanek Bartochowski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 25th minute, Tanek Bartochowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patryk Winszman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Przemyslaw Przybyciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Przemyslaw Przybyciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lucjan Cieslak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucjan Cieslak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patryk Winszman having to interfere. Edward Gollob hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Przemyslaw Przybyciel scored 0-3 in the 50th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patryk Winszman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half GrajkiZNajki were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Przemyslaw Przybyciel to strike the kick off in the second half. Edward Gollob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mlodzi Gniewni's zone, Lucjan Cieslak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patryk Winszman came out of the goal and Lucjan Cieslak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 67 minutes, Tolek Pietrasz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mlodzi Gniewni and the GrajkiZNajki players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Tolek Pietrasz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mlodzi Gniewni's Patryk Winszman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Przemyslaw Przybyciel in the 69th minute of play. Tolek Pietrasz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Lucjan Cieslak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GrajkiZNajki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When Mlodzi Gniewni's Emil Chrzan in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mlodzi Gniewni's Patryk Winszman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Mlodzi Gniewni from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the game, Borys Marchewka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GrajkiZNajki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mlodzi Gniewni the free kick. A collision led to GrajkiZNajki getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Borys Marchewka hit a great ball. Przemyslaw Przybyciel might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patryk Winszman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Przemyslaw Przybyciel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute Lucjan Cieslak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Winszman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Przemyslaw Przybyciel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patryk Winszman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The GrajkiZNajki supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GrajkiZNajki would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
