An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Golob in the 26th minute of play forced Glovno SSA's goalkeeper Kajetan Mroczynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedykt Miecznikowski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 30th playminute. After some careless play in the Glovno SSA defense, Gwidon Golob kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kajetan Mroczynski. The Glovno SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kajetan Mroczynski should have stopped the shot. Wojciech Tobaczewski's late challenge caught a GieKSa 1964 Katowice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wojciech Tobaczewski helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Glovno SSA! Beniamin Penczkowski shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. Jerzy Zapolski was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 78 played minutes GieKSa 1964 Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Jerzy Zapolski. When Edmund Orling came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Glovno SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmund Orling couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Leonard Osielski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariusz Golota was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the GieKSa 1964 Katowice players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Glovno SSA.
