An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Czerniak in the 6th minute of play forced Eagles Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Lucjan Olejniczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes, Dynia's Grzegorz Lichniak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucjan Olejniczak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dynia reached it. Tytus Tyskie shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Zenon Czerniak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dynia's supporters rose to their feet, but Zenon Czerniak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucjan Olejniczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zenon Czerniak in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucjan Olejniczak saved Eagles Sosnowiec from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Dynia's zone, Przemyslaw Czempa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wasyl Bubczyk came out of the goal and Przemyslaw Czempa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucjan Olejniczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaw Wachna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes Eagles Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Jakisz. In the 35th minute of the match Tytus Tyskie sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucjan Olejniczak skillfully saved the ball. Lucjan Olejniczak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaw Wachna's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Lucjan Olejniczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Czerniak in the 43rd minute of play. Przemyslaw Czempa might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wasyl Bubczyk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Przemyslaw Czempa ran back to his position shaking his head. Przemyslaw Czempa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Wasyl Bubczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zenon Czerniak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Eagles Sosnowiec defense, Gustaw Wachna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucjan Olejniczak. The Eagles Sosnowiec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucjan Olejniczak should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute Zenon Czerniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Olejniczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaw Wachna could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Lucjan Olejniczak however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Eagles Sosnowiec's zone, Lucjan Gacki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucjan Olejniczak came out of the goal and Lucjan Gacki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Eagles Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Lucjan Olejniczak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaw Wachna. 76 minutes into the match, Gustaw Wachna notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Eagles Sosnowiec's Lucjan Olejniczak. Lucjan Olejniczak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 84 minutes of play, Eagles Sosnowiec's Przemyslaw Czempa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wasyl Bubczyk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dynia's Wasyl Bubczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Bielatowicz in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaw Wachna got free with Lucjan Olejniczak in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After recieving a nice pass, Dynia's Tytus Tyskie tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gustaw Wachna's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lucjan Olejniczak firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Dynia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dynia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
