Mieszko Sebzda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Olchawa in the 6th minute of play. Sylwester Sedzikowski kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Napoli SSC's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Sedzikowski came free, but Ksawery Gondela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Górnik Zabrze booed when Napoli SSC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a rather tough play, Napoli SSC's Lukasz Zdrojewski got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th match minute, Napoli SSC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Biskupiak to maneuver through the defense. Wawrzyniec Mockiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ksawery Gondela made a huge save. Napoli SSC's Ksawery Gondela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Sedzikowski in the 38th minute of play. Mieszko Sebzda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klement Olchawa went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Górnik Zabrze's Mieszko Sebzda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Biskupiak in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After a defensive mix-up in Napoli SSC's zone, Wasyl Piesciuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ksawery Gondela came out of the goal and Wasyl Piesciuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Sylwester Sedzikowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ksawery Gondela. Napoli SSC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sylwester Sedzikowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. 88 minutes into the game, Górnik Zabrze's Sylwester Sedzikowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ksawery Gondela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Mieszko Sebzda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klement Olchawa in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Napoli SSC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
