Warmia Grajewo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Janusz Winszman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Warmia Grajewo's Ryszard Walaszkiewicz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bogdan Zawaski. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. Niedzwiednik's Bogdan Zawaski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Zukowski in the 24th minute of play. Alfred Wozniak kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Radomil Przebendowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Erland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Kajfasz in the 38th minute of play forced Warmia Grajewo's goalkeeper Leon Erland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Niedzwiednik's Radomil Przebendowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Erland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Fryderyk Bielecki came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Warmia Grajewo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fryderyk Bielecki couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute Ryszard Walaszkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Zawaski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Niedzwiednik's Zachary Milko got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Ryszard Walaszkiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zachary Milko's late challenge caught a Warmia Grajewo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zachary Milko helped the player get up and apologised. Pankracy Cielencki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Zawaski having to interfere.
