Spectators: 7246 (Terracing: 5436, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Janusz Anszczak got the match started through his kick off. If Janusz Anszczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartosz Grajewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Anszczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleksander Walczyk got free with Bartosz Grajewski in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herbert Kajder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugon Wysocki in the 26th minute of play. Jacek Siembab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Kajder having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Jacek Mockiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Jacek Siembab's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herbert Kajder was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Siembab in the 35th minute of play forced Otfinów's goalkeeper Herbert Kajder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Kajder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugon Wysocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes Otfinów got a freekick which was hit by Witalis Dzierwa. In the 42nd match minute, Otfinów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Mockiewicz to maneuver through the defense. After 46 minutes of play, Straw Hats United's Hugon Wysocki made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herbert Kajder was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugon Wysocki made a kick off. Straw Hats United's Bartosz Grajewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Anszczak in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Otfinów's zone, Jacek Siembab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Kajder came out of the goal and Jacek Siembab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the game, Witalis Dzierwa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Otfinów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Straw Hats United the free kick. After a rather tough play, Otfinów's Witalis Dzierwa got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute, Janusz Anszczak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Otfinów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Marek Kornasiewicz's late challenge caught a Straw Hats United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marek Kornasiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. Marek Kornasiewicz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Aleksander Walczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herbert Kajder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugon Wysocki in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, Otfinów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Mockiewicz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Jacek Siembab managed to get in a good position for a shot. Straw Hats United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacek Siembab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Kajder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jacek Siembab came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Straw Hats United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacek Siembab couldn't finish the play. Jacek Siembab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Herbert Kajder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 95th minute of the match Witalis Dzierwa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Witalis Dzierwa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Straw Hats United booed when Otfinów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witalis Dzierwa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otfinów were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Straw Hats United for a fine match.
