Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5013, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 10) WARTA's Herbert Chazen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Oleszak in the 3rd minute of play forced Szopienice's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Jaks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbigniew Oleszak in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugeniusz Jaks saved Szopienice from getting behind. 7 minutes into the game, Herbert Chazen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eugeniusz Jaks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute, Herbert Chazen made a precise shot to the right of Eugeniusz Jaks. Szopienice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Wit Kornaszewski fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WARTA's protests and gave Wit Kornaszewski a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, WARTA's Wit Kornaszewski got a free kick in the 16th minute. Eugeniusz Jaks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Wydrych in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, WARTA's Grzegorz Jarosz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugeniusz Jaks made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Zbigniew Oleszak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugeniusz Jaks having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Chazen in the 31st minute of play forced Szopienice's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Jaks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Zbigniew Oleszak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugeniusz Jaks was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Herbert Chazen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugeniusz Jaks having to interfere. Eugeniusz Jaks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zbigniew Oleszak's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When Boleslaw Brzeszczak came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the WARTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boleslaw Brzeszczak couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Zbigniew Oleszak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Jaks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Szopienice players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. WARTA were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pankracy Nieuzyla was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Pankracy Nieuzyla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Setara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Chazen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugeniusz Jaks having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Herbert Chazen managed to get in a good position for a shot. WARTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Chazen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugeniusz Jaks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 minutes Szopienice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfred Wydrych who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Alfred Wydrych got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eugeniusz Jaks quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Szopienice's Wincenty Oborski got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Damazy Wierzcholek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbigniew Oleszak got free with Eugeniusz Jaks in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Zbigniew Oleszak notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Szopienice's Eugeniusz Jaks. Eugeniusz Jaks was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eugeniusz Jaks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezary Jarosz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szopienice's Eugeniusz Jaks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Jarosz in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Herbert Chazen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WARTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herbert Chazen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zbigniew Oleszak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Eugeniusz Jaks made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Szopienice's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Chazen came free, but Eugeniusz Jaks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugeniusz Jaks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbigniew Oleszak in the 93rd minute. Eugeniusz Jaks didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. WARTA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
