When Wincenty Oborski fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szopienice's protests and gave Wincenty Oborski a yellow card for diving instead. Szopienice's Eugeniusz Jaks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Chazen in the 72nd minute of play. Eugeniusz Jaks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Oleszak, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 78 minutes of play, WARTA's Herbert Chazen made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugeniusz Jaks was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herbert Chazen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Eugeniusz Jaks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Herbert Chazen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugeniusz Jaks. Szopienice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herbert Chazen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. WARTA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
