Meiwa FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Meiwa FC booed when Legia Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Makarewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Napoleon Rakoski struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Alfred Makarewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legia Warszawa. Lukasz Sanocki's late challenge caught a Meiwa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lukasz Sanocki helped the player get up and apologised. Lukasz Sanocki kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Legia Warszawa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
