The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryszard Mielak during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes Kalinianka got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Mielak. Edward Pieprz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Boleslaw Winszman. Pankracy Rekawiczka's late challenge caught a Don´t Stop Believin´'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pankracy Rekawiczka helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kalinianka getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Pankracy Rekawiczka hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Kalinianka's Pankracy Rekawiczka got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Don´t Stop Believin´ booed when Kalinianka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslaw Panasewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The tension between the Kalinianka and the Don´t Stop Believin´ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Wladyslaw Zdrojewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Don´t Stop Believin´'s supporters rose to their feet, but Wladyslaw Zdrojewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Pieprz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edward Pieprz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Kaczanek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
