But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marek Gruchacz couldn't finish the play. Zdzislaw Poniewaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Wincenty Budzyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Radowit Zbydniowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wincenty Budzyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Poniewaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, Zdzislaw Poniewaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Wincenty Budzyn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pawel Siedlecki made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Poniewaz in the 56th minute of play forced Ogrody KSZO Ostrowiec's goalkeeper Wincenty Budzyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ogrody KSZO Ostrowiec's Pawel Siedlecki got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Grubno's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Nocny came free, but Borys Dziatkowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Nocny took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Borys Dziatkowicz. Borys Dziatkowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 65th minute, Jurand Przybyciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zdzislaw Poniewaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Zdzislaw Poniewaz took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Wincenty Budzyn to make any attempt to save it. In the 80th minute, Zbyszek Derlanga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zdzislaw Poniewaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zenon Dyczkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Wincenty Budzyn didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. In the 93rdth minute of the game Eugeniusz Grondzki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ogrody KSZO Ostrowiec's Wincenty Budzyn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Pawel Siedlecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
